Arni Johannson
Position: Chairman

Arni Johannson has 20 years of experience in the Canadian capital markets. His focus has been to build assets and senior management teams in companies he is invested in while executing a defined business plan. Mr. Johannson was the founder and architect behind Titan Uranium (TSX.v:TUE - www.titanuranium.com) and cofounded The Fortress Group (Fortress Paper -- TSX:FTP - www.fortresspaper.com). He also serves as a director for a number of public companies including Mega Uranium ( TSX:MGA - www.megauranium.com).

 
John Icke
Position: Director

John Icke is a senior executive with more than 25 years global management experience, 14 in the role of President, General Manager or Chief Executive Officer, in both the private and public sector. He was previously the president of Accenture Business Services for Utilities, the largest business process outsourcing practice of its kind worldwide. Most recently, he had been a principal of JRI Strategy Consultants Inc., a business consultancy which provides strategic counseling and leadership to senior executives of retailers, technology and consumer goods manufacturing businesses. His previous positions include: president and CEO of Lily Cups Inc; founding director and chairman of Canadian Polystyrene Recycling Association (C.P.R.A.); corporate vice president and general manager of Indigo N.V.'s worldwide packaging business; and chief operating officer and executive vice president of Sweetheart Cup, a subsidiary of Fort Howard. Importantly, Mr. Icke has significant experience with private equity in addition to debt and public equity financings. Mr. Icke serves on several public and private company boards to include Cue Resources Ltd., Terreno Resources Corp., Woulfe Mining Corp., and Teslin River Resources Corp.

 
John A. Tapics
Position: Director

John A. Tapics graduated in 1975 with a B.Sc. Honours in Mining Engineering from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada. Mr. Tapics has over 30 years of mining and electricity industry experience including four years as President and CEO of the Alberta Electric System Operator responsible for operating Alberta's electricity market, transmission planning and system operations; eleven as an Officer of TransAlta Corporation, in charge of the Generation, and the Transmission and Distribution Business units. While at TransAlta Mr. Tapics was responsible for the operation of 4500 Megawatts of power capacity (3700 Megawatts of coal fired thermal capacity, and 800 Megawatts of hydro). He directed the mine planning for and economic delivery of 16 million tonnes of coal annually from two mine sites to three power plants totaling 3300 megawatts.

Mr. Tapics has served as a Director of the Coal Association of Canada, the Alberta Chamber of Resources, and the Western Electric Power Institute. He has been active with the Canadian Electricity Association, serving on the Generation and the Transmission Strategic Issues working groups; and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIMM) serving as the Calgary Branch Chairman. In 1993 he received the CIMM Past President's Medal for his leadership in the coal and energy industries. He currently sits on several publicly traded company Boards including Lions Gate Metals Inc., Copper Mountain Mining Corporation, and Compliance Energy Corporation.

 
Gordon Keevil
Position: Director

Gordon has over 25 years of technical and corporate experience related to the management and operation of resource companies. Gordon focused his professional efforts towards junior listed companies involved in mineral exploration and development where he was responsible for all aspects of corporate, financial and operational management.

Gordon has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Geology from Queen's University and is a designated Professional Geologist.

 
Michael Sweatman
Position: Director

Michael Sweatman obtained his bachelor of arts degree in economics and commerce in 1982 from Simon Fraser University. In the same year he obtained his chartered accountant designation. He is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of both British Columba and the Yukon Territory. Since November, 1992, Mr. Sweatman has operated MDS Management Ltd., a Vancouver-based management consulting company. He has over 20 years experience in the financial marketplace and currently provides services as an officer and director for several Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies.

 
Richard Schroeder
Position: Director

Mr. Schroeder received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia in 1976 and his Chartered Accountants designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1981. Mr. Schroeder was a partner of the firm Ellis Foster, Chartered Accountants for over fifteen years and was continued as a partner at Ernst & Young LLP following their merger in 2005. He has over thirty five years of experience advising multinational public companies with focuses on the mining and financial services sectors. Mr. Schroeder retired from Ernst & Young LLP effective July 1, 2011.
